What we collect when you get in touch, why, and how long we keep it.

Who we are
Slightly Better is a digital marketing consultancy based in London. We decide how your details are used, so questions about them come to us: info@slightlybetter.co.uk.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name and email address, and, if you add them, your phone number and your message.
- Booking a call: the booking page is run by Google Calendar. It asks for your name and email address so it can send you the time and a Google Meet link.
- Questionnaire: your name and email address, your business name, and your answers about the business, such as its size, its customers and what you would like help with.
- Emails: anything you write to us directly.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, hold the call you booked, and suggest where to start. We replywithin 48 hours. In data protection law the basis for this is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you have sent us. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.
Where it goes
Two companies handle your details on our behalf. Netlify hosts this website and stores what you send through its forms. Google provides our email and calendar. Both may process data outside the UK, and both do so under contracts that require it to be protected.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep our correspondence for as long as we work together and for the period the law requires afterwards.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. If you use the light or dark switch, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it; it is not sent to us. Like every web host, Netlify keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how we use them. Email info@slightlybetter.co.uk and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
